The volunteer crews of Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary - Pacific Unit 10 (CCGA10) provide dedicated Marine Search and Rescue (SAR) services, 24h a day, 7 days a week.

Unit 10 is based in Richmond, BC and is operating 2 stations, i.e. Richmond North (Auxiliary 6) and Steveston (Auxiliary 7):

Auxiliary 6 - is based by the Speed Skating Oval on the Middle Arm, and covers the North and Middle Arm of the Fraser River from the Pitt River Bridge to points west of the North Arm Jetty into the Strait of Georgia.

Auxiliary 7 - is based in Steveston on the Main Arm and covers the Main Arm of the Fraser River up to the Pitt River Bridge and points west of Sand Heads into the Strait of Georgia.
