Putting Contest Fundraiser!
On Thursday, September 13, 2007, Unit 10 members attended the Saga Forest Carriers Int'l AS Golf Tournament at the invite of the company to host a putting contest at Beach Grove Golf Club. The funds from the contest would be split between Unit 10 and the winner of the putting contest. After an afternoon in the sun and numerous frustrated golfers who couldn't seem to sink their putt, the contest ended up raising just over $700. And to top it off, the winner donated his prize to the Unit, leaving the whole pot to the Unit. A huge thank-you to Saga Forest Carriers Int'l AS, the players in the putting contest, and Unit members who hosted the event!
